LE CUIR A PARIS is continuing its efforts to enhance the profile of leather in the interior decoration and design sectors, and for the third year in a row is dedicating an area of the show to the use of leather in the home.

The HOME MADE exhibition directed by François Bernard and themed around the currently in-vogue trend for "Hand Made/Home Made", showcases the most recent innovations in the use of leather in interior design and product conception. These include surface finishes, colours, textures and feel.

This innovation and expertise has been grouped into eight categories:

  - When skived leather plays with transparency and tattooing
  - When shaping is based on weaving or linear quilting
  - When pleats become wrinkles, scars and swellings
  - When the finish is lustrous (super glossy/super matt)
  - When cut-outs are lacy and 3D motifs
  - When embossing is based on botanic motifs
  - When the use of lasers transforms textures into foam, velvet and micro-perforation.
  - When prints are wild and animal inspired.

At the show you can also discover the new and special leather colour palette: HOMECOLORS.
